Best sushi that we keep coming back to online or in person. Reasonably priced and economical vibes in the restaurant which could use a little updating maybe but we like and it is clean and fast and incredibly good. Every time we try other sushi we compare it to Ajiya and so far Ajiya always beats every other place. This is not a place to come to and expect high class service as it is economically run by the owner and a small staff and it seems the negative reviews are from high maintenance people who expect so much while still paying so little, not fair in my opinion and so easy to disregard their opinions but when it shows up in the overall number out of 5 then definitely not fair. This should be in the high 4.5-5 rating restaurant and we will definitely keep going back.
Authentic Japanese food, made in house. Takoyaki has two big octopus inside and price is the same! Alaska roll is awesome. Salmon and avocado are fresh. Rice is about the right amount and sticky enough to hold such size of sushi roll. For mango California roll, I said I want mango but don't want too much of crab (since Alaska roll has crab meat already), so they substitute yam for me. I would definitely come back here! Highly recommend!
This little Japanese restaurant is perfect in my books, based on my few visits. Bathroom always clean. The food always fresh and tasty, the staff are very friendly, the location is great and the prices are amazing! The eateries on West Fourth are mostly great but a bit pricey, this place is not. When shopping on the Avenue, hold out and try this place sometime. Best tempura prawns in quintessential Japanese form are light and crispy, fresh and healthy. The veggie rolls are all delicious. And wait for it...Pressed salmon sushi (WOW). This same quality, quantity and style of sushi would costs about 24 dollars more elsewhere. Seriously, check this place out.
I love the sushi here. It is a sure bet. The staff are friendly. It’s a bit pricier than other parts of town, but for the kits area it’s good. A great spot to grab some food and take down to the beach for a picnic.

Pictures don’t do it justice, but this is a great local sushi restaurant. Food is fresh, quick and tasty. They have fun special rolls and all the standards are good. Spicy tuna, shrimp, and avocado roll was very good, as are pressed and seared fish rolls.
Such a great little restaurant! Our hostess was kind and attentive and the food was so amazing! I will be craving the Fantasy roll for months!
Always a great place to order a quick bite. Never disappointed with their consistency! Just a simple place you could go regularly. Tried it all… lunch, dinner and ordering it to go.
